A Village Visit
Historic Cold Spring Village in Cape May is an Early-American open-air living history museum! Step back in time to the 1800s while visiting an award-winning 30 acre-site. Experience 26 restored historic buildings with historical guides in period clothing who demonstrate the trades, crafts and lifestyles of the the 19th century including blacksmithing, woodworking, basketweaving and more. Visit the Ice Cream Parlor, Bakery and Old Grange Restaurant; browse the Country Store and its unique line of heritage goods, specialty foods, jewelry and gift ideas. Weekday family activities and weekend special events including free horse and wagon rides and hands-on kids’ crafts.
For the 2015 season, the Village will open Tuesdays through Sundays, from June 30th through September 6th, 10am-4:30pm. Special events will be held every weekend from June 6th through September 30th. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for children ages 3-12. Children under 3 are admitted free.
*The Village is currently hosting school groups and is closed to the public from 9am-3pm, Tuesdays-Fridays through June 5th.*
Guided Walking Tours
HCSV is offering special guided walking tours Tuesdays through Fridays at 11am from June 9-26 and September 8-25. Tickets are $5. Children under 3 are free. Tours begin at the Welcome Center.
