A Village Visit

Historic Cold Spring Village in Cape May is an Early-American open-air living history museum! Step back in time to the 1800s while visiting an award-winning 30 acre-site. Experience 26 restored historic buildings with historical guides in period clothing who demonstrate the trades, crafts and lifestyles of the the 19th century including blacksmithing, woodworking, basketweaving and more. Visit the Ice Cream Parlor, Bakery and Old Grange Restaurant; browse the Country Store and its unique line of heritage goods, specialty foods, jewelry and gift ideas. Weekday family activities and weekend special events including free horse and wagon rides and hands-on kids’ crafts. Open Tuesday – Sunday, 10am-4:30pm. Located at 720 Route 9, Cape May, New Jersey. Historic Cold Spring Village has received operating and project grants from the New Jersey Historical Commission in the Department of State, The 1772 Foundation and the County of Cape May including NJSCA/Cape May County Culture and Heritage Commission Regrants. Endowment funds have been awarded from the NJ Cultural Trust in Department of State. Advertising and printing has also been funded through the Cooperative Marketing Grant Program of the New Jersey Division of Travel & Tourism in the Department of State, www.visitnj.org.
