A Village Visit
Historic Cold Spring Village in Cape May is an Early-American open-air living history museum! Step back in time to the 1800s while visiting an award-winning 30 acre-site. Experience 26 restored historic buildings with historical guides in period clothing who demonstrate the trades, crafts and lifestyles of the the 19th century including blacksmithing, woodworking, basketweaving and more. Visit the Ice Cream Parlor, Bakery and Old Grange Restaurant; browse the Country Store and its unique line of heritage goods, specialty foods, jewelry and gift ideas. Weekday family activities and weekend special events including free horse and wagon rides and hands-on kids’ crafts.
Historic Cold Spring Village is currently open for free self-guided walking tours Monday—Friday, 10:30am to 4:30am, and Saturdays, 11:00am to 3:00pm. The Chronicle, a guide to HCSV, is available in the Welcome Center on weekdays and on the porch of the Country Store on Saturdays.

Ghost walks take place Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm through October 24th. Guests will be led by lantern light through the shell-lined paths of the Village, stopping along the way at our restored historic buildings to speak of the mysterious spectral happenings reported by visitors and staff and revealed by paranormal investigation teams. The 45-minute walking tours begins at the Route 9 gatehouse. Tickets are $15. Advanced reservations recommended. Please call (609) 898-2300, ext. 10 for more information or to reserve your ticket.
