Internships

Would your students like an internship experience that is not only educational but enjoyable? Historic Cold Spring Village may be able to help. We are seeking interested undergraduate and graduate students majoring in history, curatorial/museum studies or marketing/public relations. Interns will work alongside our professional staff on a variety of vital projects.
Historic Cold Spring Village is a non-profit 19th century open-air living history museum located three miles north of Victorian Cape May in the Cold Spring section of Lower Township, Cape May County, New Jersey.  The Village is comprised of 26 antique restored buildings located on a 22 acre wooded site.  During the season, the site is open from 10 am until 4:30 pm weekends beginning Memorial Day Weekend, Tuesday through Sunday from late June through Labor Day Weekend, and several weekends in September.

Interpreters in period clothing demonstrate and discuss the lifestyles, issues, trades and crafts of a small 1800’s South Jersey rural community.  Weekend events are held throughout the summer months and include antique shows, military encampments, fairs and festivals.  From November until May, the Village offers an active educational program consisting of Visits To and From the Past, Distance Learning (video-conferencing) and the Marshallville One Room Schoolhouse Experience.

We look forward to hearing from you. For more information, please contact us at (609) 898-2300, ext. 10, write to the Village at :
