This station originally served the
community of Rio Grande, on Route 47
just north of Cold Spring. It was built
by the West Jersey Railroad, successors
to the original Cape May and Millville
Railroad which built the first line down
to Cape May. After a series of mergers,
the line and station were used by the
Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Lines. It
was donated to Historic Cold Spring
Village by E. Troiano of Rio Grande
Concrete and moved to the Village in
1975. With the revival of passenger
service on the Seashore Lines, the old
station is once again in use.
