This typical south Jersey house was
built by Howard and Mary Norton. It
served as their home, and they also ran
a country store on the premises. Bills
of Lading found in the attic attest to
their successful trade in fresh produce,
meats and dry goods. They also kept a
wagon and made local deliveries to their
customers. The building was donated to
the Village in 1975 by Ray Howell and is
now a bakery.
